College Road Trip

I've been off line a while.  Mostly, it's due to my work in San Antonio. However, I was able to take a three day road trip with my son, delivering him to Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, Florida.  It's not often I can have three days with my son.  It was a good trip.  Couple of days on the beach, lots of sea food.  Here's a couple of pictures:

Turquoise Grill on Saturday for late lunch...

I decided to try Turquoise Grill today for lunch.  I arrived about 12:30 PM with high expectations.  The restaurant does not offer a luncheon menu on Saturdays.

I ordered two of my favorites:

Ezme Salatasi and Doner Kabob.

My lunch bunch decided to try Jerusalem Grill today.  I have to recommend this San Antonio restaurant.  Great lunch, both from the menu and cafeteria style. My only complaint? I ate too much humus and pita before my chicken kabobs arrived.  Lunch bunch decision?  Thumbs up.
