I was attempting to finish cutting the grass in my back yard last night when my lawn mower engine died. I was hurrying to finish the task before a thunderstorm arrived. It was just to the north of our house and there were flashes of lightning. All of a sudden, sparks were flying from my muffler and the lawn mower died. Drat! Sparks coming from your muffler is not a good sign. I set the lawn mower aside and finished the small patch of grass with the weed eater. Who said men get to have all the fun?
I seriously doubt I will ever buy a Troy-Bilt lawn mower from Lowe's
again. (Poor quality of product in my opinion, Lowe's doesn't service
and no one stocks spare parts.)
I guess I'll have to buy a new lawn mower and drain the gas and oil out of the old one so the city will take it. Drat! There goes $300 for a new lawn mower. I think I'll look at a Honda this time
around.
The $300 cost reminds me of how much our government is devaluing our currency by encouraging the use of credit in our economy. Sure, the economy expands while every Tom, Dick and Moron borrows to the hilt. But then the loan comes due and the wheels fall off the wagon while everyone pays down the debt.
