Visual Studio 2008 Feature Pack - Phooey

by Codewiz51 August 03, 2008 14:04

Update: I definitely qualify as a moron. I was tracing through the "About info" for my home system, and I followed the link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945273. It turns on the Feature Pack is installed on my system. After poking around in my %temp% directory, I found the installation log for the service pack. At least I didn't cause any traffic accidents on the way to work.

I finally got around to installing the Visual Studio 2008 feature pack at home. I have Visual Studio 2008 Version 9.0.21022.8 RTM. I wish the installer would tell me what it is looking for. I checked the requirements on the download page, and it looks like I have what is required. Cry
