Oklahoma Heat Wave

by Codewiz51 August 04, 2008 06:30

Good grief Charlie Brown, it's hot! The Southwestern heat wave has taken ahold of central Oklahoma. We've seen quite a few days of 100+ degree weather. We had a slight reprieve when the Brownsville hurricane meandered through the state, giving us a little rain and some cloud cover. But now, it's blue skies and heat that will turn you into beef jerky. I have to be careful and remember to leave windows cracked and windshield sun screens up, even if I only park the car for a few minutes. Carrying gloves is highly recommended, as your steering wheel may be too hot to touch.

These are the days when it's good to have a desk job. Cool
