Well, it's the first week of August. Summer feels like it is winding down. My daughter picked up her school books today. School starts next week for her. My son wants to go visit a friend in Chicago before school starts in two weeks. The parents are ready for school to start back yesterday! 
It's hard to get much coding done at night. I worked in the yard with a weed eater tonight, but mostly I talked to my neighbors. I'll cut the grass tomorrow. We had a weak cool front pass through today. The temperature was down to 93. Trust me, 93 is a lot cooler than 107! I was able to walk today at lunch for about 30 minutes. Walking before lunch is an excellent appetite suppressant.
I am really frustrated at Amazon. I ordered some books on web design and GIMP usage August 1st. It was supposed to ship on August 6th (today). So far, there is no notification of shipment. Supposedly the books are in stock. I am wondering if I should have ordered from BookPool.com?
