After ordering two books on August 1, the order shipped on August 7. The expected delivery date is August 18. Man, that is not fast at all. (I took advantage of the free shipping offer, but I didn't have a clue that I would be looking at 2.5 weeks.) I was not in a hurry for the books. It's a good thing. I usually do business with bookpool.com, but their web site said they did not have one of the books in stock, so I slid over to amazon.com and placed my order. I'm looking forward to delivery so I can begin workin on /sandbox in earnest.

On a better note, the temperatures really dropped today. We barely made it into the 90's. Tomorrow, we may not even reach 90. It feels so good not turning into beef jerky in 107 degree temperatures.
