My daughter got a Zen for her birthday. It's hot pink and pretty nifty. I was amazed at how well the thing works with her laptop. Whether you use Windows Media Player or the Creative Software, it is just darned simple to use. I love the screen. I know it's not the HOT thing, but it is so very, very cool. I'm not much of a gadget guy, but I want one of these. I don't want an iPod, I want a Zen. Except I want a black one.

By the way, there is a terrible summer cold going around, if you are lucky enough to not have noticed. I ended up taking off this afternoon. Symptoms are lots of congestion and general malaise. A short bed rest seemed to be what I needed to get over this little bugger. Our office has been hit heavily in the last two weeks.
