I had a couple of ideas for posting this week, but real life got in the way of internet life.  My Mom needed to move into an assisted living environment,  She's a brave old gal, and a wonderful Mom, but she needed help.  This meant that my wife and I needed to stage her house for placement on the market.  We've moved all the valuables out of the house and turned off the cable.  We had to leave the phone on for the security system.  We've been working on the weekends and evenings to complete the staging tasks.  Finally, tonight, the house is completed.

It's been a tough week for me.  I've had to sort through a lot of pictures and documents, dozens of bottles of forgotten hand creams and cleaners.  My wife has worked like a trojan on the house after work.  It's times like this that you love the ones your with more than ever.  My Mom is starting a wonderful new life and is enjoying the company and meals at her facilty.  Fortunately, she was wonderfully frugal and has saved hard for her retirement.  She won't have to worry about her golden years.
