gharris, 2011/06/14 12:57 Naan Bread - The closest I have gotten without a tandoori oven! This is essentially a pizza dough cooked thin using very high heat.
I modified the recipe as follows:
- Use a pizza stone
- I used 425 °F in my convection oven.
- Use olive oil instead of butter. (Actually, I think lard simulates the ghee butter than any other oil.)
- I usually work a small amount of oil into the dough before letting it rise.
